February 10th, 2006

Sorry there have been no updates to the site lately. I would have had the video up for sale and updates done sooner but I had a bit of a delay that you can read about in the "Extras" section. Hint on what happened: I was hit while riding my motorcycle. Good times.

January 3, 2006

The film is done! It has been sent into the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Everyone that's seen it so far loves it. Some people have even been as far to say that it's "brilliant". We have printed 100 DVDs that will be sent out mainly to the people that put music into the film and the athletes. If you're one of these people and want a DVD then contact me. Otherwise, you will be able to buy on the site soon. Click for synopsis and frames from the video.

December 02, 2005

The film has just finished color correction and the audio is a day from being done. There will be some hours within the following week to put the finishing touches on the film and then we're printing 100. Some will be sent off to film festivals including The Vancouver Mountain Film Festival. The film will go into a professional distribution house and will be packed with a ton of extras including bonus material and some of the vids you see here on the website. It will offically go on sale the first week of January.

Update: October 17th, 2005

Allright, we're nearing completion of the film. I know that i've said this before and I know you trusted me the first time I said it and then the second time you were a bit iffy but now i'm for real. We have some final touches to do and then it's off to production. We should be shipping before christmas. I SWEAR. Check out the new links section below.

Update: August 23rd, 2005

We thought that we had everything done like a month ago but then we took it to Glen Bitel, a professional independent film maker that gave us some feedback. In a few ways we have gone back to the drawing board. Both Scot and I are going to The Art Institute of Vancouver in October to study film so we really have to have it done by then... two months from now is the goal.

Update: June 30th, 2005

Currently not accepting any more audio submissions. Thanks to everyone who submitted some really awesome stuff. We're finalizing the editing within the next couple days so expect to see a new part to the site called "Buy" within the next month. Check out the audio poster...

Update: June 12th, 2005

Only two weeks for any more audio submissions. Scot is here as of the 26th we will be attempting to finalize the editing. Check out the poster...

Update: May 7th, 2005

We are currently struggling to get some music together for the film. We are at a stand still until we figure out this situation. If you know anyone that makes music, has a band, has some samples make sure to let us know. Check out the poster designed by Chelsii.

Update: May 1st, 2005

Hey everone from May 1st Reboot! . Thanks for checking out the site. Make sure to post something on the message board if you like the shizzle. Currently our video Experiments on Earth is planned to be released in two months.

Update: April 16th, 2005

Scot was here this week in Vancouver and we worked on the film every day. We were able to get a lot done including a rough cut. The film is currently over two hours long in its roughest state. We plan to butcher that like crazy though. We expect the final product to be about 30 - 45 mins. Another thing, I signed the site up for May 1st Reboot for fun. The site will go down on April 25th and be rebooted on May 1st. Hopefully we'll get some recognition for being really dumb like full time.

Update: April 10th, 2005

Everyone, sorry about not posting links lately. We've been working on the new website! We're currently 15 minutes into editing the film. Scot is coming out to Vancouver today so we're going to get some serious work done on the film.

Update: March 17th, 2005
Colter

I just finished putting up some new links. Also, Chelsii and I are working on the new layout for the website. Pretty soon, it's actually going to look like a website. A respectful one at that! We're also going to get a host pretty soon and maybe some fancy e-mail addresses like colter {no spam} @ nakedapefilms.com and scot {nospam} @ nakedapefilms.com. If you are one of the people the keep checking back, thanks for the support. We're still working on the film and plan to be done sometime soon.

Update: March 9th, 2005
Colter

We are currently 17 mins into editing the film. I sent Scot what we have so far and we discussed what we should do and whether or not we're achieving the right feel. I put up a couple new sections and some new links. Thanks to Phork for the code to the message board! If you have a minute make sure to post something on there. That'll at least make us feel like we have friends. Also, I put up the dumb animations section. I know they suck, that's why I called it the Dumb Animation section. More is on the way...

I got the shit kicked out of me yesterday. Karma or random act of violence? You decide (Updated March 3)

First of all, I put up a new graphic. Secondly, i'm scratching myself. Thirdly, I need to explain why there are "those ugly lookin' hicks" talking trash about something in the middle of the video. There have been a couple of people that have asked me about that. Those dudes live in Fernie near Burton Lake which is where we built that huge ramp that launches you into the water. Those dudes hated the fact that it's there. They were really pissed off about the whole thing and ended up doing some things that will only be revealed in the full length video. We went to their house to interview them and that's when they started saying those things. Now you know.

If anyone noticed that the site was down for a day there, sorry about that. I was hosting the website and using the bandwidth of the Lethbridge Community College server. I guess they weren't too happy about that. I e-mailed the admin guy to see what the deal is because they not only cut off access to my directory but they also deleted everything in it. If you're interested in reading what happened, click here. Thank the lord that I didn't have things backed up. As for my portfolio that was on the server, who needed it! I was talking to someone and he was saying that they will cut you off if you have "offensive content". I don't know what that means but if you check out Limmy's Xylophone on the links page, I think that might fit the bill.

Update: February 20th, 2005
Colter

I keep finding rad links and I thought it would be cool to start posting them here. I added the links section above. I've been working on the film pretty regularly now being that I broke my ankle. It's not really looking that fresh by the way. If you want to check out some appetizing pictures of it click here . I'm about five minutes into the film now.

Check out the gallery! Thanks for my friend Phorkzilla for helping me with that one.

Update: February 10th, 2005

I took down that other piece of crap site that had a quote and the picture of the bike. It mentioned breaking beer bottles over our heads twice when there was no sign of it in the trailer. I had that site at LCC and thought it might be a good idea to put it up there but didn't think it was that cool of a site later on. Either way, I made some changes to the video and put in a couple new titles. It's basically the same thing but a bit smoother running. You can download either the small or large version above. I would recommend the larger version for the quality. Make sure that you have the speakers turned up!

Update: February 1st, 2005
Colter

I'm leaving for the rigs tomorrow so I made this video quickly. It took me a couple evenings to finish off but I feel like spending time with Chelsii instead of the computer so i'm going to have to leave it an an imperfect state. I thought that some of the things turned out pretty well and I hope that you like it. It's just basically a two minute trailer to shoe you that we are working on things and to give you a taste of what's to come.
